It probably is.
Take a look at these fan based maps for this weekends NFL playoffs.

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Denver Broncos in double overtime in a game they were constantly playing catchup.
Notice I did not say Denver choked, gave the game away or that the Ravens stole a win. In a year when the Ravens and Flacco were remarkably inconsistent, the Broncos had been, well, remarkably consistent.
Yet it was the Ravens, and Flacco, who played consistently well on offense Saturday.
The knock on Flacco has been he is not an elite QB because he is not consistently great, or even consistently good. The praise on Manning has been he is an elite QB because he is consistently great, or at least consistently good.
Make no mistake about it; QB’s and their play are important. Nothing has exemplified that point this year more than the play of Facco and Peyton. But the mark of a great QB and, for that matter, a great team, is not only being consistently good but overcoming adversity as well. This year Peyton and the Broncos certainly did that; so did Flacco and the Ravens.
The game Saturday was between two great teams. The game was won by a great team which overcame adversity and has seemingly been playing catchup all year long.
Congratulations to the Ravens.
And Flacco.
The Washington Redskins currently sit in the number seven spot for the NFC playoffs. Unfortunately, there are only six playoff spots available.
If RGIII, Alfred Morris and the rest of the skins have any say in it, this will change – for the better.
It all starts with yet another improbable win against the beltway rivals, Baltimore Ravens, and a host of other teams – losing; namely the rest of the NFC east contenders AND the Seattle Seahawks.
So, it is with this thought in mind that I, RedskinDoug, am placing my bets choices this week as well as my selection for upset of the week.

For this installment of Dynamic Duos, lets get some things out on the table first.
– The AFC is full of Rookies and First Timers. First Timers are almost like rookies except they have experience but are with new teams, new coaches, and new personnel.
– The AFC is full of teams vying for top position on the Neilson Reality TV Ratings and Headline Media Wars. It’s like reading a who’s who of upcoming tv shows for the fall season.
And like my Dynamic Duos of the NFC, I will purposely ignore (some) of the obvious ones.
After all, we are trying to pick the Next Dynamic Duos.
So, who are the contestants?
First up: NY Jets
That is how I would describe Round 1.
The first half of round one was predictably boring.
The second half was definitely exciting.
The Commish is probably ecstatic too!
What better way to debut in prime time!
First off, the Skins after acquiring a perennial pro bowl caliber QB (Donovan McNabb) in free agency, picked perhaps the best athletic OL player available to help protect him.
Then two division rivals have the nerve to pick defensive players in the 1st round! Sheesh!
Thanks Jerry for picking a WR. We aren’t impressed.
Secondly, I was actually impressed with the Broncos trading down and acquiring draft picks. Bravo!
Then they surprised everybody and picked Timmy!
Bravo again! He was not worth the 25th pick, in fact I bet he would have still been there at your 45th 2nd round turn but hey, Kudos for picking him and keeping him out of our division and even conference.
Hey, while you are at it, can you pick up Clausen and McCoy too!
Thanks.
Now I hear the rumors of Haynesworth going to the Vikings… Hey anything is possible. We could certainly us the picks.
I think I am actually liking this new prime time format.
Bravo Roger!
Today, even though they felt compelled to spot the Broncos 14 easy points, the Redskins decided to show up and play some good ol’ fashioned football.
Play calling was better.
Play execution was better.
Play attitude and determination was better.
Trick plays were better.

And they discovered the good ol fashioned smash mouth running styles of Betts and Cartwright make for a good combination.
Rushing ATT YDS TD LG
L. Betts 26 114 1 18
R. Cartwright 9 41 0 17
Well done.
This season marks the 50th season for the eight original American Football League teams. As part of the celebration, the eight original AFL teams will wear historic uniforms during Legacy Games.
Over the course of the next week, I will be featuring something special on each team. But to kick things off, listed below are the legacy uniforms the NFL has come up with for each team.
Which one do you like the best?
Buffalo Bills 1965 AFL Championship season:
White helmet featuring a simple red buffalo.

Denver Broncos 1960 season:
Brown and yellow uniform; brown helmet.

Kansas City Chiefs (Dallas Texans) 1962 AFL Championship season:
Red and white uniform; red helmet featuring an outline of the state of Texas (played in Dallas 1960-62 before moving to Kansas City).

New England Patriots (Boston Patriots) 1963 divisional championship season:
White helmet featuring the original Patriot logo.

New York Jets (Titans of New York) 1961 season:
Gold and navy uniforms; navy helmet.

Oakland Raiders 1963 season: White (away) jersey features silver numbers outlined in black; silver helmet with original Raiders logo.

San Diego Chargers 1963 AFL Championship season:
White pants with yellow bolt down legs.

Tennessee Titans (Houston Oilers) 1960 season:
Blue and white jersey with red accents; blue helmet with derrick logo (played in Houston 1960-96 before moving to Tennessee).

We didn’t have enough viral hype on the internet already…
HAHA !!!
Now that’s funny !!!
It is rumored that there is a possible trade in the works for angry Jay Cutler. There were a couple different internet possibilities. The first would be with the Broncos, including Cutler and Scheffler for Campbell and myself. Another was a three way trade between the Browns and in that scenario Campbell and I would go to Cleveland, Cutler/Scheffler would come here and the Broncos would get Brady Quinn, someone else and draft pick.
Trade talk is a weird wake up at 6:30. Obviously something was said between teams to cause this internet trading shit storm. I would be pissed if I got my ass shipped to Cleveland. But seriously, when the internet is the first news I hear about something this big I would hope it to be speculation. Really, it could have been a couple owners bullshitting and joking around about guys and someone leaked it. No big deal. I would be blown away to hear anything more. It is nice to read extreme skins posts about not wanting me to go. Thanks!
By the way, I do get to hang out with John Elway a little bit this weekend at the Dulles Sports Expo in Chantilly VA. I’m gonna bring a ball and ask him to smoke one for me.
